I have been holidaying with FT since 2002 and had some brilliant holidays, but unfortunately, cannot say the same about this. NOT suitable for a christmas week, hotel was room and bfast only, a long trek back into town to sister hotel, the food was appalling and 15 starters, main courses were sent back, all which took 3 hrs, by which time when we had trekked back to the hotel the bar was shut. The first night evening meal was a short walk away in a totally empty restaurant on the 2nd floor, 4 formica tables pushed together, no christmas atmosphere, not even any music, and once again when we got back we had 10 mins before the bar shut.

Christmas day should have been a tour of the cathedral but the guide left without us, and we had been queuing for an hour, so that didn't happen

This is a 2/3 day city break and should not include meals, there were plenty of places to eat around

Colum offered us 53.00 as compensation !!!!!!
